Strategic Thinking. Intelligent Design. Nice People.
With more than 42 years of experience as an award-winning graphic designer, Robert Mott works with a broad spectrum of clients to produce and manage projects across all media, including branding and identity campaigns, book designs, brochures and print collateral, direct mail print and email, environmental signage and trade show displays. University marketing directors, arts organizations, entrepreneurs and authors alike turn to him as a trusted creative advisor to help make their communication projects more beautiful, impactful, and profitable.
IN HIS “OFF” HOURS — when he’s not painting in the art studio or chalking as a street artist — Robert Mott often spends time performing as a bass trombonist with his professional ensemble, Mr. Jefferson’s Bones, or with various other music groups, including regional orchestras, jazz big bands, funk bands and choral societies. He’s also an ASCAP composer/arranger, co-organizer of the Tromblowin music workshop held annually at James Madison University, and founder of the musical relief project, Trombonistas por Puerto Rico.
“We needed a number one draft pick in a graphic designer and Robert has beaten all of our expectations.
For almost 20 years now, he’s continued to ‘wow’ us with his ideas. From our website, marketing campaign and book design, Robert has turned into a true partner in our business. Plus, he is an absolutely great guy.”
