It’s 4th and long and you need a touchdown.

Ever have one of those seemingly impossible, last-minute, “can’t miss” deadline project requests . . . and your entire art department is headed out for a two week vacation break? JMU Athletics and Marketing was facing that scenario just a few weeks before the end of the calendar year. So they called me in, brought me up to speed and gave me access to the creative assets and the decision makers who could help me meet the deadline and surpass their expectations. Working within some established style guidelines, I designed this 36-page full-color print Case Study, as well as a pocket folder with a 16-page brochure stitched into the folder. Down, set, hike . . . score.

“Robert Mott is a consummate professional. He combines great creativity with acumen and organization. Our deadline was nearly unreasonable. Yet Robert turned it around with ease, with high quality and with good humor. Most importantly, Robert brings a solid understanding of marketing and communications principles to the work. He is concerned first with how well messages will be received by audiences, and whether they will achieve their objective. His design work is terrific, but his bottom-line mentality matters a lot to us as audiences become harder to reach.
